At first look these irons have a clean, sleek appearance. They are not the sexiest irons on the market, but it really doesn’t matter because they are deceivingly powerful… But how you may ask? Well, these irons feature a one-piece cavity back design and are made with boron-infused carbon steel. The boron allows the metal to retain its strength, which generates an obscene amount of power from such a thin face. Power transfer has been optimized, so they are extremely efficient.

There is a choice of shafts through the Mizuno Swing DNA fitting service, and the stock shaft is the True Temper Project X LZ in steel or graphite that is light at 115g and performs extremely well.
