Cobra King F9 Speedback
Updated: Aug 19, 2021
I have to admit I was never a Cobra guy. I’m not sure why, but every time I grabbed a driver to test and review, the Cobra just never made it in my hands… That has all changed with the Cobra King F9 Speedback… Besides. Who wouldn’t want Cobra Connect to track and provide feedback?

Performance
Overall, it’s awesome, and a really easy drive to hit. It seems as if Cobra learned from last year and made it simple this year with only one model, the F9. Last year Cobra released two models, the F8 and the F8+ for those who had a higher swing velocity. This year the F9 covers almost everyone! Why? Well, because of the CNC Milling. The Speadback is the only CNC Milled face on the market and it allows the Driver to have a thinner and more consistent face than in the years past, plus with the low center of gravity, combined with the aerodynamic shape this version is a little more forgiving and a bit longer that any other Cobra in the past.
I mentioned Cobra Connect earlier, so let’s get into that a bit. Within the grip of the club Cobra has inserted a tracker. You can track distance, dispersion, and percentage of fairways hit. Hopefully you use this information to improve your game. Collected data isn’t very T
The F9 Speedback certainly has a WOW factor. The yellow on black color scheme stands out amongst other drivers in the market this year, but it still looks clean, sophisticated and powerful. I’m looking forward to watching Bryson DeChambeau and Rickie Fowler crush bombs this season.
